Cheddar and Jive – a traveling cheese-themed expo and fair, returned to Brindlewood County after a year off. As a staple of the season. no expense has been spared to market several events, including the cheese wheel race, Miss Brie-Lieve It Brindlewood competition, and throng of vendors with specialty dairies. This year, up-and-coming metal band Parm-anent Damage, is headlining the evening portion of the expo as the organizers hope to draw in a younger crowd.

Cheddar and Jive missed their last east coast festival tour – but reports conflict as to why. Bayside news reported it was a lack of funds after a prominent donor pulled out, while nearby Faversham shared that Cheddar and Jive had been plagued with logistics issues. Still others think it was Big Medicine (Lactaid)’s interaction and lobbying… while more supernatural theories exist at late night bars and gossip circles. Additionally, the last Miss Brie-Lieve It gave up her crown two years ago and hasn’t been seen since….

So when a popular musician turns up dead hours before the show, our mavens are tasked with uncovering the culprit before the whole festival is spoiled with a bad reputation it can never shake!
